The Blue Heron was created by Heather Maertens and was originally crafted in two parts, allowing for a mix of metals and finishes. The heron has a high polish finish, set with a genuine blue sapphire in the eye. The grass has a satin (smooth, matte) finish and the cattails have a sandblasted (rough, textured) finish.
